When I was a young boy, I had a few scary experiences with cold water in the winter, sledding in the snow and playing ice hockey. My mind and body were screaming, "Get out, and get out quick!" When I first went into the water at a temperature of about 48 degrees Fahrenheit, I lasted for one minute before my body started shaking and my teeth chattering. Then a friend sent me a text about Wim, and I decided to give it another try, but this time I committed to the advanced breathwork and the icy-cold immersion (commitment is one of the three pillars of the WHM, along with breathing and cold therapy). Please, let's have a chat so I understand better what you took away from your experience and can learn from your feedback.I started with the breathing and cold showers but wasn't having the experience that he and others were sharing, so I got discouraged, distracted, and stopped altogether. The only fact that people spend time every day with themselves is gold. I believe that the key to all these breathing techniques is connection with self - regardless of this technique or that technique. There is sooo much more we don't know yet when it comes to the effect of breathwork and the mind. This work is an expression of who I am and what I strongly believe in - I also wanted to be free to evolve and change / improve my method as I learn and grow. Wim changed my life and I am forever grateful reflecting on my training, I decided to not get certified as I wanted to create my own method, using some aspects of the Wim Hof method but also other breathwork and mindfulness techniques (Dr Joe Dispenza, The Oxygen Advantage, special forces). I trained with Wim Hof in Poland, I love him and what he brought to the world is incredible.

I do not claim to teach the Wim Hof method and I would like to connect with you to know where you saw that written. I am grateful for your comment as it allows me to clarify what the teaching is about. Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write a review and I am glad you had a wonderful experience and recommend it.
